In 2011 the National Kidney Foundation of South Africa (NKFSA) is offering the following research grants:

THE NKFSA ADCOCK INGRAM RESEARCH GRANT - 2011

The NKFSA Adcock Ingram Group Research Grant is offered with a total value of R30,000 to be paid in one single amount to a successful individual or group for innovative and practical research in renal or renal related fields.

THE NKFSA CHARLOTTE ROBERTS TRAVEL AWARD - 2011

The Charlotte Roberts Travel Award, valued at R25,000 is awarded every second year. This is intended to enable junior research workers to travel abroad to learn new techniques in a renal specialist field.

The closing date for applications is set for 31 May 2011 and all applications must reach us before closure of business on the day. The name of the successful candidate(s) will be announced by the end of June 2011 but applicants will be kept up to date on progress.
